Card for Ways to Use it Challenge, WT176 Negative Thoughts. Challenge is to use some kind of negative image or negative thing on the card. The negative thing I did on my card was to cut out a star and keep the hole, not the star.
Chef is colored with Prismacolor pencils.
Background was Cuttlebug embossed, then I the brayer over it with blue ink, and sponged with Blush Blossom.
This card is for a co-worker. There are things I have to do every day when I am at work, so when I am gone, I need to find someone else to do those things. I took the day off today, so I sent an email to co-workers, asking for a volunteer to cover for me. Since it is often difficult to get a volunteer, I sweetened the pot and said the volunteer would earn a virtual gold star. Not a real gold star, a virtual gold star, since my coworkers are computer nerds. This card has a virtual gold star. The star is not gold, but it looks gold, because there is gold paper behind the cutout. The entire oval layer is raised up on fun foam, which I cut with brand new Nestabilites. (Came in the mail today, on my day off! Life can be sweet!)
(So I can remember...) Sizes of Petite Ovals Nestabilities used: Large set: 3rd largest die for white; Small set: 2nd and 3rd largest dies for navy, 3rd and 4th largest die for foam, 4th largest die for gold background.
