or at least parsley, sesame, kosher salt, and bay!
I loved this challenge! If for no other reason than it was one of the messiest cards I've ever made. I used sticky strip to edge the very vanilla in seasme seads. I then put a glue dot on each petal of the scallop punch and pushed dried parsley down on to it. The hardest part was using the kosher salt. I first tried adhesive (nope!), then crystal effects (salt peeled away) and finally ended up with super glue. When it had dried I dropped some river rock reinker onto the salt and used a brush to paint the salt. As a final touch when the card was done, I added a bay leaf to one of the flowers. I really wanted to add two, but I only had one in decent shape because the bay jar was getting a bit empty.
thanks for looking... what do you think?
Kathryn
next day edit: while I was loving the look of the ink to color the salt, looking at the card the next day revealed a surprise... the salt has absorbed the color and now it is just a yucky grey! I like the idea of the card and so am now wondering if sugar would react the same way? anyone know?

Very clever! I especially love the sesame seed border and using the bay leaf as a - what else? - leaf. It's so simple yet I never would have thought of it. Brilliant!
