Using items from the Stampin' Flybabies Summer Craft Kit: Daisy Bucket Under the Boardwark Designer Paper and the Making Memories Little Letters (for the date).
Strips are 2.5" wide in 1" increments - from 2.5" to 5.5".
The hunter paper doll is from The Stamping Station. I first found these cuties at Kentucky School Supply, a teacher supply store, right next door to my work! Apparently, it's a one of a kind store in Kentucky. Anyway, I found a company online that sold these as well. They come in many themes - bathtub, royalty, Scouts, etc. They come with two dolls and four outfits. I think these things are paper piecing at it's best!
The apostrophe was created with a brad and a Night of Navy marker. I used my hammer & punch to create the hole...hmmm...that Big Bite is sounding better & better. I'll wait for a Michael's coupon!
After I took this picture, I added journaling in the Chocolate chip marker in the space beside the Hunter Guy.
ETA: Additional details about the Paper Doll - stamped the cheeks with Blush Blossom using a Sponge Dauber. Freckles are Close to Cocoa SU! Marker. Eyes are outlined with SU! Basic Black, white is from a white gel pen.
