OK...Brutally honest eh? Here goes nothing...I would add a layer or a mat. Also the shape of the HB wouldn't look so out of place if it was a similar shape or even a rectangular shape. KWIM? I hope that helps. It is a really cute card but I do see where you would think it could use something...Maybe even dash of another color...just a brad or eyelet...or my fav HPH! HTH...You definitely got style girl! And kudos for being brave!

Brutal honesty - I agree with the Happy Birthday looking out of place. I also think a little less embossing and a little more color would be good. I do like the cats peeking out of the windows though.

This is so hard to be brutally honest....here goes nothing! If it was me I would add some layers and another color like so saffron or something, and I agree a little ribbon would be cute. The cats are really cute!

Brutally honest.. ok, I agree that it needs ribbon and also the HB needs to be a more traditional shape (square, rectangle)
I love the cat peeking out, though!

honesty thread: I agree that the greeting should be square or maybe left off the front and just put inside the card... and then add some ribbon love the cats in the squares!

Honesty thread: I think the cats and background are terrific! The greeting doesn't work rough-trimmed as it is, with the flat bottom. I'm not sure squaring it off would work as part of the layout, since the greeting is rectangular in form. Either this stamp inside the card would be great, or find a more compact version of "Happy Birthday" on a circle for shape contrast.

BH - I love the embossing, but the tltle part needs to be cut evenly and put on evenly...maybe mat it? How about having the cat on the left facing the other way (body in) to be looking at the top cat?

Brutally Honest... The whole concept is cute, but I agree with the others... Another paper layer of color and some sort of embellishment to add another dimension would bring this card to the next level! That being said the cats are so adorable and I like the embossing.
