 | | So Cindy created a monster, I really should be cleaning a closet or something, but I love this sketch and THIS is the stamp I wanted to play with today.
So this is card 2 (well really card 4-I had to work on improving the cowboy) and I chose traditional Mardi Gras colors green and purple with basic gray as the neutral. I stamped the mask with palette noir and colored with copics-tho I think I wasted my time since you can't see it under that whopper of a ribbon puff (thanks 4hounds-I tried, but yours are waaaay better)
Stamped the image on small squares using PTI plum pudding ink. The BG is CB'd and then Gable green added DTP with the ink pad.
put the thing together and took a picture. Looked at the pic and said that mask needs crystal effects, so I applied that and went to take a shower while it dried. While toweling off I thought GLITTER, the mask needs glitter. Good thing I hadn't washed my hair, cause it would have been too dry, but I got it in the nick of time and believe me YOU DON"T want a visual.
Thanks Cindy, this was great. |
