I was reading the weekly inkling and saw a forum topic about shying away from large outline stamps that need a lot of coloring in. So I went looking for this card in my gallery and realized it was not there...It's an older card, but I must have forgotten to upload it or it disappeared.
I simply pounced two colors of chalk onto a white cs bg, then stamped my image in Black ink.
I think it is a good example of *coloring* without actually coloring! ;) I was happy with the results.
I just wanted to say that there are lots of great ways to *color* an image without it being a daunting task. I've found many right here on SCS! Take a look at this week's TLC!
You should never shy away from a stamp you love because you are afraid to color it!
Just thought I'd share. Hope it helps someone!
Thanks so much for taking a closer look!

Terrific job. This looks wonderful and I know what you mean about the coloring. It's the major reason I sponge on color doing the crayon resist technique. Like you said, it's a great way to color without really coloring. Good job. This is a beautiful card.
