Scratch and Sniff Technique
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: kingscrown

I used Beate's Scratch and Sniff Technique to make this Christmas card for my June's Christmas Card Challenge. I used cinnamon with the clear embossing powder on the gingerbread men. My daughter came into my craft room and said, "WOW mom it actually smells like gingerbread in here." She didn't know I was using cinnamon on the cards. After the card was complete I sealed it in an envelope and put it in a tin. I them opened it the next day to see if there was any cinnamon smell. Unfortunately, there was really. I may have imagine a faint one. I'll seal it up until Christmas and maybe it will scent the envelop. BTW I used no stamp color on the GB men. The cinnamon gave them a great color and texture.

Your GB men look great! Bummer about the scent, though! I love the blue fiber for accent - great color!
