Here is my card for the technique challenge, with a shimmer and a glimmer.
I do not have any perfect pearls or glimmer mist or sparkiling H2o's. So I was just going to sit this one out! But I really wanted to play, so I thought I might try something with some shimmery eye shadow, so this is what I did.....I stamped my image with versamark and colored it with the shimmry eyeshadow and some small make-up brushes. Then I took a peice of whisper white cardstock and stamped all over it with versmark and again brushed on the shimmry eyeshadow. It does shimmer IRL just doesn't show up much in the photo. I sprayed both peices with some hairspray to set the color. Another problem developed, nothing will stick to the pink background peice so I had to figure out a way to hold on my image panel, ended up with these pink photo turns, they are the only thing holding her onto the card!
Well, there it is what do you think?

You are just too crazy Vicki with all your energy to create a new technique! I gotta hand it to you, girl. This is one very creative work of art right here! To think about using eye shadow is way out of my league! this is a huge success story! I think this is absolutley fabulous!

Beautiful card, love the girl image. Very creative of you to think of using the shimmery eyeshadow. Like the swiss dot panel, pretty ribbon, bling and of course those photo turns holding the image on.... great job with this challenge. tfs

Ooh, this looks awesome. I love the simple layout, the image and I bet this looks fantastic IRL too. How clever to use the photo turns to hold you main image panel down.
