This is for today's Featured Stamper Challenge. Maren's gallery is GORGEOUS!! I had a hard time deciding which card I wanted to CASE, and since I haven't used my So Many Scallops stamps much, I thought THIS one would be perfect.
I used some scraps of paper I had in my scrap basket.....and now I'm regretting it because I really don't like the colors. :( Oh well, I tried. The paper is Soft Sky DP, I stamped the scallop flower in Guava ink and added a 1 inch punched Wild Wasabi circle to the center. The brads are some I bought at AC Moore a long time ago, and I thought they'd be ok, but now I'm not so sure. LOL! Its just one of those day, ya know? I added the ribbon and then stamped the Congrats sentiment in River Rock on the River Rock base.
Here is what I changed:
Colors
used DP for the background
brads instead of pearls
ribbon
sentiment
