Here is my son Mathew. He graduates this year from HS. I made this graduation announcement to send out to family & Friends.
This card is an up-right "tent style card".
I added a piece of c/s in the center like a picture frame has so the card doesnt flop down with time.
The picture area flips up to show the announcement.
It reads:

The cap was done with the 1 1/4" square punch.
The tassel was done using floss thanks to Sharon's instructions here: Blogs at Splitcoaststampers
The Grad cap was mounted w/ dimensionals.
No stamps were used here.
All SU materials. Ribbon is retired.
Class of 2008 was printed from the computer punched, & mounted w/ mini glue dots.
Oh` the cap has an edge glitter done w/ 2-way glue & SU glitter.

What a wonderful announcement!!!! Your tassel looks wonderful, and to think you made 20 or so -- WOW -- but they really don't take too long, do they!!! Love the red on this -- great, great job!!!! So glad you got this done and so glad the tassel tutorial was helpful!!! Thanks much for the link!!!
