 | | Today's Sassy Challenge was to make a One Layer Card. I'm not sure if this is a one layer or no layer, but I love to make cards like this. Some stampers find them unfinished, but I think they're elegant and simple....just the way I like it.
I started with a Kraft base, inked up the flower from Gina K Design's Comfort & Peace set, with SU markers. Its really hard to see, but the center of the flower is suppossed to be So Saffron. I huffed and stamped the image right onto the Kraft base. The sentiment, from the same set, was stamped with Rose Red ink. I used my Horizontal Slot punch on the left (again, hard to see) and threaded some white organdy ribbon through it, before tying it off. Super quick, super simple, and elegant.
