The challenge was to make a card to reflect the beginning of our interest in vintage stamping. My love for nature and anything vintage began as a child working in the garden with my father and the dragonflys along with scouring the thrift stores and to my mother's dismay always begging for and dragging home these precious treasures. Vintage and nature are just part of who I am - I love the idea that someone before me loved these treasures and I now hold it in my hands and my heart. To find Crafty Secrets is such joy.

OMG Dru ... this is jaw dropping gorgeous!!! LOVE the lace applique and the velvet ribbon! I wished I could see this IRL because I don't think the photo really does it justice!!! What a great story also .... I was right there with you looking through all of those treasures that once were loved by another lover of trinkets and treasures! GREAT card ... LOVE IT!!

I missed this early Dru! Just gorgeous! Lovely touch of vintage with your lace, ribbon and pearls. I love the contrast between the soft pink ,dark birds and crushed ribbon. Thanks for parting with your collection items.....they make one fabulous vintage card!
