Recycled CD into Clock
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: rbnwood

This was one of those free AOL CD's that I turned into a CD clock. I used versamark ink and Utee embossing powder for the base. Then I stamped the images on with StazOn ink. Great fun and unlimited theme possibilities.

You will need a Fender Washer (a large washer available at your local hardware store) for the middle of the CD. I just decorated it the same way I did the CD. You also will need to buy a clock movement for 1/4 inch thick Clock Face, hands and numbers (I got mine from Hobby Lobby). The clock movements usually come with a hanger built into them so you can hang the finished clock on the wall, but I prefer to set them in the small plate holder and display them. A word of caution, when using your heat gun be careful not to get too close or use it too long because the CD can warp. Have fun!!
