I made this 3 x 6 card for the KWerner Design Blog Color Challenge. I love making 3x6 cards because I can get 4 cards from 1 sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock.
About stamping on texture cardstock: It can be frustrating, because it is difficult to get a clean image due to the texture. It helps, however, to stamp on a padded surface, like a mouse pad or the foam pad from the mat pack. Sometimes, however, you wanted the textured look to your inked image, as I did here. I think it adds a great dimension to solid image stamps.
The "Friend" sentiment is heat embossed. I cut the scallop circle using QK Cookie Cutter Dies. I love how the shine from the embossing and the taffeta ribbon create a soft glow for the card.
