This is my first altered clipboard. I chose the materials and made this for my daughter's teacher. I used Aleene's Laminate It as an adhesive. I found it to be thinner, and more clear, and less tacky, and easier to use than the Mod Podge I used on my first tin purse. This may be in part because I didn't do a top coat. I recommend this product and method because it was easy to work with. This took me half the time I spent on my first tin purse. I did it over the course of two days, with drying time between every step.

I love it ! Love how you cut down the paper to show a border of the clipboard - looks great (very clean). I'm not sure I understand though did you use a top coat of Aileen's or no? Thanks so much !
