I was asked to help design invitations for a women's ministry event called Early Flight. The tea luncheon is is for woman who have lost a child or miscarried. We went with non-baby colors. I printed the text on vellum paper. When I finished it looked liked something was missing. I turned it over and 1/4" on each side I ran the scorer and on the reverse (front) it looks like dry embossing. I'm making bookmarks to match. I will be showing several ladies how to assemble 75 on Monday.
Here is what the text says.
A special invitation for you . . .
Hope that Heals
At West Ridge Church, we understand that Mother's Day can be a challenge for women who have lost a child or a baby either before or following birth. Thatâs why weâre hosting a special tea in your honor.
We hope youâll join us on Sunday, April 24 from 2:00-4:00 PM in the Azalea room at the Paulding Community Center. Youâll be treated to a wonderful lunch, encouraging songs and an inspirational message. There is no cost but seating is limited. To reserve your seat or get more details, contact ***** ****** at ***.***.****.
âFor I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and
not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.â? Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
