I offered to donate a "basket" of cards to the Special Olympics fundraiser that my school district is having this weekend. Since, it's rather difficult to see, and therefore appreciate all the cards while in a basket, I had to figure a better way to "display" the cards. My cousin, and partner in stampin crime gave me this great ideas of putting them in a poster frame. It worked out great. The only problem is that, I thought the cards would have stayed put once I put the frame back together, BUT b/c most of the cards have some sort of embellishment, they sort of created an air pocket in the frame SO they all slid down. I stuck a tiny piece of tape to the back of the cards and then a note on the back of the frame cautioning the winner to CAREFULLY remove the tape so as not to ruin the card(s).) SO, overall I think it worked out as a great way to display the cards. It's a pretty stricking ensemble (meaning it should gather some looks among all the regular baskets.) Hopefully, it will earn a lot of money for the Special Olympics! TFL!
I hope you can get a good look at the cards-if not, at least you may get a good idea of what it looks like.
You may also notice there are 20 cards and only 12 months in a year. I put 8 "extra" cards (mostly for vanity's sake....but also to give a little extra). I did a wedding, get well, sympathy, new baby, graduation and 3 birthdays.

Thanks! I teach English as a Second Language...I'm in 2 schools. In the one school, I share my room with a Special Ed class, and at the other school, there are 2 special ed classes across the hall from me. SO, all of my friends (most of my teacher friends, anyway) are Special Education teachers. Every year they have a big cocktail party and each school , and some individuals donate baskets to raffle at the party. It's the big thing. They get TONS of baskets, and make tons of money, so it's a good thing. Anyway, I hope my "basket" rakes in some dough for them. I love those kids! TFL!

Wow this is incredible! What a neat idea for a fundraiser! Great job and thanks for sharing not only the cards but the idea of the poster frame (and how to keep them in place.)

Thanks! I have to give credit to my stampin partner in crime, Mikeswifefreda, AKA Lori, my cousin for the idea! BTW, I put the envelopes in a small cellphane bag and tied them to the hook on the back of the frame. Then, I wrapped the whole thing in cellophane (not pictured here.) Thanks for the comment!

Hey PIC,
Thanks! I wish you could have seen it, but alas, Key West took priority! LOL I posted the baskets too, well- one of them so far- Ladybugs' Picnic. I still have to do the Home is Where Your Heart is basket. No time yet.
