well, I'm back again for the technique challenge, remembered I needed an encouragement card for a co-worker who has just found out she has cancer.
I love this quote by Washington Irving about strength. I stamped it on white cs in ColorBox black ink and embossed with clear. The heart word is inked with red pepper by Adirondack, embossed also! The marvelous bracket is from Purple Onion Designs...stamped onto soft sky with soft sky ink and embossed partially in clear. My heart paper tole is one of a collections of hearts from Michelle Ward's Green Pepper Press which I used the red pepper again. I stamped it 3x's. And put my friends' initals on top in black ColorBox. The font is from Starving Artistamps...I think called authentic. The honeycomb paper is from MME's new spring 08 papers. I matted it with SU 07 in colors, first bayou blue which has been cuttlebugged with the mesh folder and the actual card base is soft sky.
I'm praying for my friend and truly hope she feels that heavenly spark...thanks so much for your comments!

What a stunning card! Love the corners around the sentiment, which, by the way, is just magnificent, the colors are so wonderful together and the heart and the background seem to be colors of strength. Hope this doesn't sound strange, just the way your card struck me.
Oh stunning! I'm sure your friend will appreciate it, that sentiment is perfect for her. You'd be amazed at how much it'll help her to know that people care.

This card really is special...you designed it so perfectly...love the heart at the bottom with the initials, and how you made the word heart red in the sentiment...all of your subtle elements are really meaningful!
