Today's inspiration challenge was to choose an inspiration piece from your own home. What a Great idea! Come on and Play! My home is filled with Sturbridge Yankee decor and I chose one of my favorite pillows found here: http://www.sturbridgeyankee.com/Deta...fm/ID/10320414
I chose monochromatic as my color scheme and used various SU blue inks. The pillow has ticking on the reverse side so I used the striped CB A2 folder for one of the panels. The pillow is also scalloped. I used the SU split punch to design a scalloped edge on the horizontal panel layer. The main image on my card is stamped from the center of "From the Garden" as it reminded me of the print in the inspiration piece. The pillow also has exquisite stitching so I chose the soft sky double stitch ribbon to use as well. The base is stamped with twill BG and a flourish from Baroque Motifs. The sentiment is stamped with versamark and embosed with SU Navy EP.
This card will be sent to my co-worker Ruth who was in a serious car accident a couple of months ago. She is still recuperating and I wanted to send her well wishes.
TU to Stef and Cindy for the fun challenge and . . . Thanx for looking!

Gosh, I almost went off on a tangent on that Sturbridge site ... shall save it for later. How lovely all their stuff is. Anyway, your card is really beautiful, fits the inspiration pillow wonderfully and your friend is going to love it!
