Hi! This card was made for today's Color Combination Challenge: Whisper White, Basic Gray, Soft Sky.
I made this card for my mom. She is ALMOST over the pneumonia, so it appears she will start chemo the end of this week or next week. She made a comment that she misses my "funny" cards...(I have been making some serious cards for her lately, especially for Easter. She LOVES religious cards, but from ME, she expects cards that are "borderline crazy!"-HER words, not mine!!!) "Excuse me, Doctor. Don't you think my mother needs and enema???" LOL!
The whale was stamped twice in Basic Black. Once on Whisper White, and once on the Soft Sky dp. The whales were outlined in the Bashful Blue marker and cut out. (I stamped the fin part on Basic Gray and cut it out and adhered it to the DP fin.)
The HPH is outlined in Sharpie.
I ran the Soft Sky background through the Cuttle Bug-Swiss Dots Folder.
I added dots with the Signo Pen and SU! marker.
The Ribbon is from the Offray Outlet in Hagerstown, MD.

Love it! I have found myself using your marker dot technique whenever my cards seem to be missing something. It really makes them pop. Thanks for the inspiration.
Also, I love the stories you share on your blog.
Blessings!

Glad to hear better news about your mom, Faith. More prayers will be going up for your family! I really like all the textures to this card and that bow- I need to get a plan ticket to come and take lessons, because you are truly queen of bows (and dots too!), TFS!
