Thanks again Beth for hosting, and thank you Amy for letting us case your cards today!
I am sick today, so I missed church service AND dinner at my sister's. BUT I did get to stamp, obviously!!
This is the card Amy did that inspired me:CC154 Birthday Whimsy by PickleTree at Splitcoaststampers
I changed just about everything except the layout, but kept balloons in the picture. It is actually a single balloon that I masked to make a bouquet of three then cut them out.
I colored the images with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol, and used Twinkling H2O's to deepen some shadows on the elephant. White gel pen for highlights.
I cut the scallops with a Fiskar's shape cutter and template.
The main image, balloons and saying are popped up with pop dots.
I used a single peanut stamp and "tons of love" to stamp the largest pink layer using white craft ink, though it is hard to make out in the photo. Did the same thing using the balloon stamp on the narrow pink panel. Love that white ink!
