OK- here are the details! My son David, 29 years old next week and a first year medical school student, has still never lost his childhood passion for frogs. He's going through a bit of a rough time right now, so I thought he would enjoy a cheerful, even goofy card.
This is for Sketch Challenge 166. The Happy Birthday panel is done in Gold EP, with the balloons and the cake highlighted with Stickles. The panel underneath it is green Heated Pearls- doesn't it look like the pond the frog is peeking out of? He's got his eye on the gold dragonfly resting on on the lily pad under David's name.
The frog on the bottom is done in Polyshrink- check out his long wire tongue shooting out to capture the tiny Polyshrink dragonfly just about ready to land on the waterlily flower! He has Swarovski crystals lighting up his eyes, too! The waterlily, dragonfly, and the lily pad are also done in Polyshrink- tiny and a little hard to see in the photo.
Everything is very sparkly with Crystal Effects, Stickles, and Dazzling Diamonds glitter, and popped up on popped dots. What fun I had with this!
Hope you like it- thanks for looking!
