****I have uploaded this card 3 times...It keeps disappearing....
Hi! This card was made for today's Ways to Use It Challenge: Open a Window...
Okay...I took it literally! LOL! I made a window... And yes, I know the bird is inside! LOL! I love birds, and have a garden just to entice them. I often sit inside waiting patiently in the early mornings for the redheaded wood peckers and the finches to come and play in the Bird Baths.
However, my Mom's garden is completely for the birds! She and my grandmother often sit on the back breeze way and watch the birds! This is for Mother for Mother's Day...She will totally understand the meaning!
The curtains are made from a skirt that is MUCH too big for me...I cut off the offending ribbon tie and squished it up at each end and punched a hole through it so I could attach the HPH that I had used a Metallic Sharpie to color!
The background sky was sponged in with LAYERS of Apricot Appeal and Pumpkin Pie. The Grass is Green Galore and Wild Wasabi.
The bird was colored in using SU! markers!
And yes...I used a Sharpie on the NEW SU! HodgePodge Hardware to turn it black! The Horrors! LOL!

OMGosh! Faith, Faith, Faith - what a stunning card! And I too love birds - we have many feeders and bird baths (in the summer) to entice as many of our feathered friends as possible. Thanks for sharing this beautiful creation!

O.k. I'll try again......the bird flew out the window on my first try. LOL
What a beautiful picture of serenity with elegant curtains to boot. Bet our snow ladies would love be looking at their windows at this!
