hello, here's a fun little card that's interactive...you pull up the shades and have a view to outside! I saw this idea at VO Stamps, but I couldn't print the pattern, so I created my own. I thought the SU! Ginger Blossom designer paper was perfect for the shades. I started with a piece of 3 3/4" x 10, then scored and folded every 1/2 inch. My hole punch would only go thru 3 folds of paper, so I used the last punched hole as my guide for the next and so on up both sides. I used my Coluzzle oval template to cut the *window*, which could also be cut as a square, rectangle, etc. I then stamped my gardening kitty and colored her in with a combo of pencils and markers. I inked the grass ground, some flowers and butterflies and tried to make clouds in the sky. To attach the shade, string a thin ribbon thru all the holes and knot at each end. I folded the last flap at the top of the shades under and glued it down, leaving the bottom hanging loose. Hope I didn't leave anything out and I hope you like it, tfl!

I had another thought, wouldn't this be great as a christmas card with a family photo in place of a stamped image? Oh, and it would look great on a scrapbook page with a photo under the blind as well.
