| | This is the card I'm taking for a swap---I can't wait, what fun!!
I knew I wanted to use this set and that I wanted to use kraft (one of my all-time fave colors :-), and I thought the candle would make a good bookmark, but all of the bookmark cards I have seen use more than a half a sheet of cs. I didn't have enough kraft cs for 25+ unless I could get two bookmark cards out of one sheet.
So, I went from there. This card uses half a sheet of cs (8.5 x 5.5). To make the bookmark, I scored at 1.25 and then folded the card so that the top edge is flush against the score mark, which makes the final card 3 5/8 x 5.5. I then perforated the bookmark with the cutter kit and used ribbon around the whole card.
I wanted to put an eyelet in the bookmark, so the recipient could use the ribbon with the bookmark, but I was afraid to get too involved and make it too time consuming. LOL, the swap is for 25 people, and I had already brought out my arch enemy---GLITTER!!! That takes up enough time as it is ;)
