Whew! I've not completed a challenge in FOREVER! I really do enjoy the challenges. I think stampers are missing out on their own special creativity when they don't try a challenge from time to time. The creative thought process that swells up inside of me when I read the challenge (and look ONLY at the samples in the original challenge post) just fires me up! Then it explodes onto my little card. I look at all the other uploads AFTER I have created my own. Fun!
Okay, enough of the poetic gab... for today's WAYS TO USE IT challenge, Julia gets us excited about using ACRYLIC PAINTS on our projects. I LOVE Tole Painting so I have a ton of these paints around my house. I've always wanted to try them on my cards and just never took the time to do it. Sooooo... THANKS JULIA, for such a creative challenge!
I just love the way the paint is so much easier to direct rather than an "ink to paper." I used one of my absolute FAV COLORS of Delta Ceramcoat acrylic paints, DUSTY MAUVE. (sigh, couldn't live without this color of paint... perfect for rosey cheeks!) It also matches SU!'s Rose Red PERFECTLY. What a fun challenge!
