This is something new that I have been trying. It's pretty cool. Instead of looking like you stamped an image it looks like you painted or drew it!
1. Stamp Image on white cardstock with versamark
2. Trace the image as best you can with a grey watercolor pencil. just to get the basic outline, very lightly.
3. Begin shading your image adding the lightest colors first.
4. when you have a evenly shaded image, use a waterbrush to generously apply a wet layer to blend
5. add darker colors and accent colors now that the paper is wet (the darker colors will go on like butter when the paper is still wet)
note: if the paper warps, wet the backside and it will help mold it back.

Beautiful card. I love the look this technique gives. I know I will have to play lots to get it down. My water coloring is not that good. But I am going to try. I love the way you matted the image. TFS
