this is for the inspiration challenge. When I looked at the fabrics I was drawn to the pink and brown. I love that combination and broke into my long-hoarded package of Au Chocolat paper! I used my nesties to make a fram for may shaker and used the new k & Co. paper for the back of the shaker. I had cuttled some of my paisleys out of watercolor paper and used the inside bits of flowers and hearts for the shaking stuff. I am happy that I had the good sense to leave them white, I had thought about coloring them... (Rule in lighting and in All design is *if you highlight everything, nothing stands out*...) I also added to the shake mix beads in shades of pinks and pearly white, and some tiny red star sequins. 2 layers of ribbon are behind the shaker and a butterfly sticker perches on the upper corner! I took the morning off from swimming and really concentrated on making this card and did not rush. It was quite enjoyable to take my time and think through each step. Hope ya like my card and TFL!

Wow Nancy! This is so lovely! I wish I could 'just skip swimming' and come up with a creation like this! Every detail is great, but I think my favorite thing is your shaker frame- it makes it all stand out for me. TFS

WOW. Nancy, I would tell you what I love about your card but it would thake too long. There is nothing on this card that I would not pick. The frame and the fact that it's a shaker and you are right about leaving the cut out pieces white it makes them pop. They were actually the first thing my eyes went to when I opened your post. I think that no one can go wrong with pink and chocolate. Awesome, great, terrific job.
