This is going to be the make & take at my upcoming catalog open house...(the card base is white...the outside black border is just cardstock behind the card for scanning purposes.)
Watercolor the butterfly with an aquapainter and ink refill...squirt ink drop into lid of stamp pad and dip the aquapainter in the ink and start on one wing, next to his (her?) body and go back and forth til the whole wing is done...the ink will start out dark and gradually get lighter and lighter. Then do the same on the other wing. This will give a nice graduated shade to the butterfly.
These would also be cute for the Peppermint Patty covers!
