I've been waiting a year to use this photo on a card for my friend who is turning 65 tomorrow! I offered to scan some of her old photos for her thinking I could use one of them in a special birthday card. She is English and I thought a TK cottage would make the perfect backdrop. Oh my goodness, I stamped this image at least a dozen times before I had one that meet my approval and then when I was adding a light to the windows, messed up and began the process again. My hats off to you ladies who so beautifully create the Kincaid images. Anyway, I watercolored the bow in my DF's hair, put packing tape over the image to protect it and then into the frame. I jused a combination of Bohemia papers to create the card, stamping the "sewing" (StarvingArtist) And the Birthday Greetings from See-D. The flower for the challenge was cut and UTEE'ed 4 times. I love the cozy feel of this card, how about you. Thanks for looking!

I like the texture you've got on the Kincaid there - looks great! I'm sure your friend will love her special birthday card, what could be nicer than something created with love especially for you? Wish her a happy birthday from me (another English woman) too!
