 | | This crazy card proved to be my nemesis yesterday! It fought me all day long!
I innocently set out to make a valentines card, and wanted to use some of my old cardstock that has been sitting around forever (years). So I pulled out a piece of really bright pink, and was determined to use it. Well, I found that not one of the hundreds of patterned papers in my stash matched it in the least. So I said to myself, "well, I will just alter it a little, and see what I can come up with!"
So I pull out every one of my background stamps, my chalks, and my inks and just tried everything! I worked on it for a long time and just could not get rid of the brightness!
Then I tried stamping the word on the card, but it kind of got lost in the background, so then I had to cover it up with the strip. I punched the hole for the brad, then proceeded to pick up a brad and immediately drop it on the floor and lose it, picked up another, dropped it and lost it too, finally got the third one in, placed it on the card, sat back, and was still unhappy with the outcome. I had worked on it for a total of about 3 hours. And I am still unhappy with it! But I figured if I spent that much time on it, I might as well add it to my gallery! |
