I've been meaning to try the faux shaving cream technique for the longest time, and today was finally the day. The sketch and CC challenges inspired me to get it done (and so did my new stamp set).
I've used my craft knife to cut some of the petals and lift them up to give the big flower a bit of added interest.
The sentiment was stamped in Teal, and then overstamped in Versamark and embossed with Iridescent Ice powder. (I guess I could have used Craft ink to begin with, but the bling came as an afterthought).
I really like this colour combo: bright but not too loud, could work for a masculine card, could work for Christmas, could work for a children scrapbook page... It definitely works for a lot of projects.
