 | | Here's my entry for Lindsey's New Years card challenge. It's also for IC108, the cocktail dress. My mom's birthday is on New Years Day so I had to make a special card combining both celebrations. I love the inspiration piece...not surprising since Elegant Eggplant has always been one of my faves! You really can't see it but I used Floral in Eggplant on the bottom and in gold on top. All the shine makes for a bad photo. Besides, my mom is sitting near me so I can't spend too much time fiddling with it!!!! I also used my new set of oval nestabilities to cut and emboss the greeting piece; love those things! So thanks Lindsey and Karen for the challenges, Happy Birthday Mom and Happy New year to all my SCS friends! |
