| | After reading Beate's tutorial, I made two card organizers for my friends for Xmas. I did buy a sewing machine but don't sew so great. Well, I sewed on the peice for the cover & loved it. I went in and sewed around all the top pages. First time using my bind it all. I watched the DVD that came with it, I read a book the bind-it-all book. I even looked online and still made a few errors. Just need to practice!
HINT: On the inside fold for the pocket, I put some packing tape along it to reinforce it so it can be used for years to come. No one can see it but it gets the job done. I didn't do it but now as an after thought I think you should put some packing tape on the inside where the fold becomes the outer edge. It reinforces it.
Letters for cover were done on the Cricut with the Mixed Monograms cart. The tags for the months on the inside were a coordinating embellshment thing from K & C. it was $2.99 for 40 tags, 10 each of 4 designs. I used different ones on each page.
The calendar was on this website in Beate's tutorial. I printed it as it was with no alterations. Worked perfect. THANKS BEATE! |
