 | | This is my first time ever participating in a Ways To Use it Challenge...WT146. The challenge was to use Stazon.
I immediately thought of a technique I observed at a stamping convention by Stampers Anonymous. They were doing some collage like stamping and sponged with Stazon. I remember how bright these colors looked on glossy cardstock, so I went for it with this challenge.
Here's a link to their website that explains this technique:

Anyway, on glossy card stock I stamped the main image with black Stazon and then masked the image and added the lines with a stamp, also with black Stazon. Both of these stamps are from Stampers Anonymous. Then I added the splattered image, made by Magenta, repeatedly on portion of the card by masking. I then repeatedly stamped a small mesh-like stamp from Rubber Stampede.
Then came the fun part of sponging various Stazon ink colors.
I highlighted portions of the images with a white Galaxy marker. The *paints* on the main image were colored with Sharpies and Copic markers.
Definitely not my style, but I feel like this challenge stretched me a bit.
Thanks for looking. |
