So glad this week's Ways to Use It Challenge (WT145) is about creating or using gift wrap to wrap up a little fun since I had some wrapping to do.
From one of my swaps at convention I received a very cute spring themed little pouch with some tags (no name on it, sorry I can't give that person credit) and I thought to myself that this would make an excellent gift card holder...so after some alterations, adding some ribbon and such, I came up with this Winter theme. For the pouch I used SU!'s On Board Bitty Book page protectors (3-1/4"x3-1/4") and just trimmed the side with the holes.
The other thing I added was a pocket in the back for a tag so that the recipient will know who the gift card came from. I uploaded two photos, one of the pouch closed as seen here and one of the pouch open with a gift card in it so you would get the idea.
It was tons of fun to make and it really makes giving a gift card a little more special!
Thanks for looking and Merry Christmas to all!
