To make a one layer card - stamp it, draw on it, emboss it, put ribbon on it - but no paper layers.
I stamped my pine tree once then two more times to the sides without reinking. I added Liquid applique to the middle tree and tied a ribbon along the base of the trees.
I embossed 'many thanks' in the corner with my cuttlebug embossing folder that I've had forever but never used until today being inspired by Sharon's samples as well as many others in the gallery today!
I like simple sometimes!

I like simple, always!!! LOVE this!!! It is about as simple as it gets -- and it couldn't be any more beautiful!!! And that snow on your tree is the icing on the cake!!! The ribbon with the subtle embossed sentiment are both just the perfect touches for this lovely card!!! So wonderfully done -- I am so glad you played!!! This card is very inspirational!!!
