I recieved an email about sending a card to Walter Reed Hospital for a recovering soldier. I thought it was a good idea. Here these heroes are home, but not home and recuperating. The address is:
Recovering American Soldier, c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center. A 6900 Georgia Ave, NW, Wash DC 20307-5001
The greeting was hard, but I found this: "It's a great honor to be able to thank you for serving our country. You're very brave for the service you're doing for freedom."

Very cute card. I also recieved this email and was informed it is false if you go to snopes.com. They won't accept cards for unnamed people since thye don't know where it is coming from. You need a name to actually have it delivered. Very sad but true.

Very cute and great idea. It's always great to support the troops. However, sltch is correct - you cannont send it without a name. As they don't allow cards to "Any Servicemember" that is deployed.
Thank you for supporting out troops! As a proud wife of a soldier, it is appreciated more than words can say!
