I love the Basic Grey Figgy Pudding papers. This gift box is inspired by lbenden's fantastic Blizzard box: Holiday Box #2 by lbenden at Splitcoaststampers Follow her links for more detailed instructions.
This box is 4 x 4 x 4 inches. The box base is a 12 x 12 piece of burgundy cardstock scored at 4 inches all around. Using my Scor-Pal makes this kind of project so much easier. The side panels are layered onto Confetti White cardstock. The box top is Shimmery White cardstock, layered with pieces of Figgy Pudding paper. The Pomegranate ribbon is two pieces criss-crossed and attached inside the top, the ends covered with a decorative 4 x 4 panel of the Figgy paper.
The box topper is made with a Poinsettia stamp by The Artful Stamper, which makes 3D flowers by cutting them out and layering/interlocking the petals. It's 3 1/2 inches across. I stamped it with Gold Encore ink and Jeweled Gold embossing powder - twice on Baroque Burgundy cardstock and once on Always Artichoke cardstock. The flower center is accented with Golden Rod Stickles and more gold glitter sprinkled on. I used dimensionals under some of the petals.
You can't really tell in the photo, but I also added gold Stickles in the centers of the diamonds on the sides of the box.

I am the most lucky recipient of one of these boxes! It is the most gorgeous box I have ever received. The sparkle on the circles is beautiful, and that poinsettia on the top of the box along with the pomegranate ribbon is really a special touch. Linda, you are such a perfectionist, every layer lines up in perfect straight lines. Thank you so much for this beauty. I hope when I get back to tackling this, that I can do you proud!

Linda, this so beautiful! I'm using these papers for my husband's office Christmas cards. It's my favorite holiday paper this season. I love the poinsettia's you've place on the top together with the gorgeous satin ribbon.
