There are many talented quilters in my office who will do a group quilt once or twice a year and sell raffle tickets with proceeds goign to a good cause. Once it was the American cancer Society and once it was a shelter for abused women and children.
This year, the quilt is snowmen. I can't sew to save my life, but I always wanted to participate in this event more than just buying raffle tickets.
So, I decided to make a set of cards and tote that would coordinate with the quilt. This is what I came up with...there are 10 cards and the inside sentiment reads Happy Holidays, so that anyone could use them.
The blue and flannel plaid with the whtie embossed snow flake are a pretty close match for the required fabric for the quilt.
