Well, I guess there is no such thing as a new idea! I made these a couple days ago and posted a tutorial on my blog http://cathystclair.blogspot.com/
Then I log in to here today and what do I see - same ornaments on the home page! Then I see more of them in the gallery!
Please don't think I'm a heel who didn't give credit. I thought they were my idea! I was working on an Easter Egg tree with the oval and decided to try some scalloped ones for Christmas. OH well, here is my version anyway....

I just love these ornaments. My idea is to take it one step farther and put current pictures of your family into the circles and on the tail of the ribbon put the year. You would then have keepsake ornaments to hand on to your children and grandchildren when they start decorating trees of their own.
