This is my LO for the NOV07VSBNA challenge to do a page with journeling showing preps for your wedding day. Do I get the prize for scrapping the oldest pictures?! The LO idea came from "Quilted Scrapbooks" by Memory Makers.
The journeling reads, "I would never admit to being superstitious, but every KNOWS the groom is not supposed to see the bride on the wedding day until she comes walking up the isle! That is doubly true when she has those horrid rollers in her hair! So when you came walking in the door that morning, I just knew something bad was up! Well, that was 35 years ago, and bad things have happened, as they will, but you are still the one and only love of my life! Always have beenÂ…always will be. I still love you!
My wedding day was one that I will always remember as being a bitter-sweet moment. Sweet because I was marrying my true love; bitter because my mother was not there to share it with me. Standing in her place was Grandma Case. Thank you Grandma, for being there for me, helping me, and sharing my joy. It is such a blessing to be there for you as you have always been there for me. I love you, Grandma!"
