This is a long overdue card for my son-in-law in memory of his grandmother who was always ready for him with an attentive ear and a milkshake. Inside reads:
Grandma's Milkshakes
When I was just a young boy, and life seemed so unfair, I'd head on over to Grandma's e~cause I knew that she would care!
And while I poured my heart out, no matter how long it would take,
Grandma would carefully listen while she was making me a shake.
We didn't solve each problem, or banish every care, but I always felt much better when I wandered home from there.
Well, now she's safe in heaven where that face one day I'll see, and if it's part of heaven, she'll make a milkshake there for me.
It's been a while since I've had one, but that doesn't trouble me, Grandma made much more than milkshakes, she made lasting memories.

Sweet Sister, I am so touched over this since I read your story. Bless your heart. God knows...and how sweet that He allows us to even see His works! I love you!
