Made thisd card to do two things, complete a swap and to try out some new templates I have! I love my new templates and have learned how to make some of my own!!
Here's what I did. I placed the oval template down in the center of my white paper. Using a large stipple brush I "dusted" the paper with color in the template opening by lightly swirling the brush loaded with very little ink. The brush is almost dry. I repeated the process with the rectangle template. I love how it looks!! Very soft and subtle. And unfortunately the photo does not even come close to doing it justice!!
Anyway it is a fun technique and I am looking forward to making more templates and playing a lot!!

I like the shapes on this one, really nice touch to add the background shapes...I don't have templates but I save the oval cardboard that comes in my light bulb box, does that count?~

Your card came up as random image in the gallery today. I just had to look at it and make a comment, too. Really like the technique you used here to make the two shapes in the background. Like the layout, too. I may have to case this! TFS
