It's been rainy, cloudy and cool for the last two days, so I had a craving for hot cocoa with lots of whipped cream.....and had to make a card to go with my craving!! I love the Apple Cider DP....the name sounds so yummy---good enough to eat!! I popped the mug, whipped cream and straws up on dimensionals and traced the steam swirls and the edge of the cup and whipped cream with a Sakura stardust pen. Diamond Stickles make the heart on the cup sparkle. The 'whipped cream' is Liquid Applique puffed up with a heat tool. **I learned a little tidbit while heating the Liquid Applique this time.....usually I apply it, let it dry, and then heat it to make it puffy, as the directions on the tube state. This time I was in a bit of a hurry and decided to just go ahead and heat it right away--while it was still wet----and it puffed up SO much more than when I've heated it after it's dried!! Not an earth-shattering discovery, but I thought I'd share it in case it could help someone out at some point. The ribbon on the spiral clip (at the top of the main image) was given to me by my DSS Big Sis---and I LOVE it!! I don't know her name yet, but SU should thank her for being such an enabler, because now I have to put it on my next order Thanks Big Sis, if you're reading this! :-) Hope you like it!! Have a great day everybody!!
