This card was made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: A Basic Challenge, using SU!'s new Basic Gray color except I didn't have Basic Gray, I only had Going Gray, BUT, I have been wanting to do a challenge for soooo long that I thought, maybe, just maybe I could be forgiven for my very first challenge upload?!
I tried that gamsol magic technique with the coloring of the image---fun, but need more practice (also a first). The tape measure on the side of the card is made from the SU Grid Paper. I cut it to size and then took a the ends from a real tape measure (cuz I soooo will never use that for myself) and just slid them right over the edges.
All I can say, is that the back of the card....well, let's just say not only are my hands all inked. haha This was really fun. Thanks again to all of you for all your inspiration!! TFL!!

That image is adorable! You did great coloring it, and I love your creativity with the measuring tape. I also like your ribbon treatment with the jumbo eyelets.

I love this!!! You did a wonderful job with your gamsol colouring!!! Love the highlights in her hair - isn't that so true to life !! Great colouring - and the tape measure is a perfect touch!
Oh this is the kind of card that I adore! I love your image with the measuring tape. It's the kind of card that brings instant smiles to the recipient!
