This is the card I've made for todays limited supplies/non-traditional elements challenge. When Shelly came up with a challenge...she came up with a challenge...for me anyway. I was going to pass on it today but, while cleaning my bedroom (yes, I had to stop stamping to clean :( ) I saw an old shell necklace from Avon and the idea came to me!! I threw the dust cloth from my hand and ran into my craft room!!!! LOL I remember when this really was my only option for embellishments!!! Oh how far I've some. LOL
Anyway...on to the card. While I was thinking of the beach, I was remembering when, as a child, my grandmother "Nanny" would take my sister and I to the beach to look for clams. Oh what fun times we had with her (missing her so much!!!) This stamp set popped into my head...the sweet little girls on the beach from Seaside Scetches!
So, this card is dedicated to my best friend Faithyc and the wonderful memories of our Nanny at the beach. tfl

Well Liz, this is the first time I cried reading a description of a card! This is just beautiful. I think about those days often as well. Love you, and I love your card.

What a beautiful card...and thank you so much for sharing your wonderful story!!! I laughed when you mentioned throwing your dust cloth down and running to stamp...I can relate!!! When inspiration strikes, you gotta roll with it!!!
