I know, I know...the pick a petal ladybug has been done (a lot), but I wanted to try one too---pretty please?
And I also wanted to try this flower frame made with the slit punch, and I thought the ladybug would be perfect for it. Sherristampsalot first taught me how to make the ladybug at a shoebox swap she hosted---thanks Sherri.
I assume everyone knows by now how to make the bug, here's how to make the flower. I cut out a 3" circle from the teal cs and using my slit punch I punched slits around the circle spacing them about 1/8 inch apart. Then I pulled up the 'petals' to give the flower some definition and sponged them in teal to make them stand out more.
