I made this card for my husband. We just celebrated our 30th Anniversary together. I started with an ivory speckled cardstock. I used the SU watercolor crayons to color this image as well as in the background. I hand painted the sun by side loading a large (3/4”) acrylic artist brush. Using your fingertips, hold the brush between thumb and first two fingers with the handle pointing straight up. Press and hold the brush in one spot on the paper. Slowly and carefully spin the brush to form a large circle (practice on scrap paper, it’s easier than you think). After all the paper was dry I stamped over the entire picture using my canvas background stamp. I loaded it with creamy caramel and stamped off once so it would be very soft. I pierced the card with my paper piercing tool then added linen thread for accents in the corners. The brown heart shaped button is from Michael’s. They have a large section of packaged accents by a Company called ress It Up”. (I just noticed on the package a link to monthly button projects at www.JessieJamesButton.com). The light brown layer was stamped with a sea oats stamp (I’m sorry I don’t remember where I got this stamp). This is a large card. It measures 5-1/2" x 7-3/4".

Marvelous card! Makes you want to watch the sunset! I really like that oat - whatever stamp on the background! I also like your sentiment! Very well done! TFS
