DD Carli with her eye patch. She really disliked wearing it and wouldn't let me take her picture. So for this I had to beg and bribe her with lunch at McDonalds. I just wanted a picture for her scrapbook.

My daughter had to wear an eye patch too, we got cute ones oneline, they were a little more expensive than what you get at the store, but it made my daughter excited to wear hers!
Are the patches working for her? I hope so, it is not a fun process, just blame the eye doc if you have to! :^)

Yes the patches did work. She had to start wearing them the summer after her kindergarten year, and just this past May they let her stop wearing it. For 8 months straight she had to wear it every day...then for a while every other day, then for a while just after school, then just on weekends. So literally for 3 years she was wearing the patch. She was initially legally blind and had a lazy eye. Now she is not legally blind in fact her bad eye is almost seeing as well as the other. SO even though she hated it...and thanks to her dad for making her wear it even though she cried and all that...she now can see much better.
